What will my advert look like?
Depending on which option(s) you choose, will depend on what your listing will look like. The example shown below shows what a typical results view would look like. The top result is the full web advert listing that will go to an additional page showing the full advertisement. The second result is a standard free listing. All paid for listings will take priority over none paid for listings, with the E50 Full listing being the highest priority.

What do i get in my listing?
Each of the features available is listed below so you can get an idea of which option(s) will best suit you company.
Directory Listing.
lists the company in the relevant category depending on business type. Unless upgraded, this has a standard priority. The listing can then be searched for though the normal search channels available to the website; including by "Name or part Name", category, facilities and standard A to Z listing.
Facilities List.
To help people looking at your advertisement know what facilities are available for them, this option shows the main general listings available. This option is not applicable to the business pages section as it is only relevant to the Staying in york, Eating in York and Drinking in York section
Map Link.
This is a link to the Multi-Map website showing the location of your establishment. It passes the postcode to the website and therefore can be very slightly off the exact position, but will be reasonably accurate.
Website Link.
This is a simple link to your website. It is available free of charge providing that a reciprocal link is placed in a viewable place on the target website.
Brief Introduction.
This is a pop-up box that shows a brief review of your establishment, such as some useful or inviting information. This is a maximum of 500 characters as it is designed to be brief.
Brochure / Menu Download.
We will take your menu or brochure (max 20 pages), scan it, and then make it available via a PDF document, downloadable and viewable from the website.
Additional Keywords searching.
Although the searching in the website if very effective, you can have the addition of 10 key words to help bring your advertisement up more often when people visit the site and search.
Highlighted Listing.
This listing prioritises you advertisement to the highest point, adds a border around the whole advertisement and also a logo or photograph. Additionally to this, the whole advertisement is rearranged to make your company stand out on the page. Please note that should more than one company be listed in the results table who have upgraded to the highlighted listing, the highlighted listings will be shown in alphabetical order. Additional prioritising is available on request.
Web Advert.
This is the equivalent to a full A4 brochure page which comes in two options. Firstly to have a static designed page by Where In York, or to have a template driven page that can updated by you when ever required. The advantage of the template driven page is that you can change information when ever you require where as the static page does not have that option. The advantage of the static option is that the page can be reflected more graphically as it is professionally designed, where as the template option is limited to its design.
