If you currently have a website with Where In York and you are coming to the end of your first year, then the maintenance option could be for you.
The idea of the maintenance program is to take the work of looking after your website, its updates, hosting and advertising and let us take care of it for you. There are two options to choose from, one of them to include email addresses and full hosting outside of the Where In York website and the second to host within the Where In York website without email addresses. What does the maintenance program give me?
Website Hosting
Even if you do not choose to take any advertising with any website, you will still need to locate your website somewhere on the internet. Both of the maintenance programs include that hosting so that you can be sure that your website will be online.
www domain name
To go along with your website hosting, you will need to continue your address to find the website. Both of the maintenance programs include your www domain name.
Email Addresses
If email addresses are important to you that they match the same www address of your domain, then our second maintenance package M150 will be required, however, if you are happy to use your own email address from a free provider such as google mail or broadband/dial up supplier, then this will save you £50 per year by taking out the M100 maintenance package.
1 Year Maintenance
Maintenance of your website includes updates to content on the website such as new prices, new pictures, address information or any other grammatical alteration. However, this does not include a redesign of the website or any new pages other than if existing content needs to be split between 2 pages.
All of the features of the Directory Listing
Additionally to the above, you will also receive the full advertising package in a highlighted position along with a web advert. This normally costs £50 in its self. [show me what's included in the listing options]

Transfer your Website
If you would like to use our maintenance options but don't host your website with us, then you could transfer your website to us and take advantage of the savings. Before this happens we will need to take a look at your website, giving it a health check to make sure it will run on our hosting packages, as not all hosting packages offer the same features.
